posting reviews

Hi folks, and especially fellow authors. I am going to be posting in several groups today in an effort to make this blog more viable. To that end, I am asking that authors post some of their favorite reviews, along with links to buy the books. Let's see how this goes:)

another five-star review

Another five-star review of Shadowstalker, this one on Goodreads. www.goodreads.com. Just type in my name or the names of my books. Many thanks. Larry.

Shadowstalker is one of those rare books that captures you from page one and doesn't let go. The book is filled with memorable and "real" characters. The story has an excellent flow and is exceptionally 'paced' by natural dialogue and timely narration. I found the book very appealing on a sensory level. Mr. Shriner has mastered the art of Showing vs. Telling. This is a great writing lesson from which young authors can surely learn.

review of Shadowstalker

Here is a five-star review for Shadowstalker:

Review by: Susan Elle on June 09, 2013 : star star star star star
I have rarely felt my emotions pulled in so may different direction within such a short space of time. The storyline, about transgender relationships and the extremely difficult lives of the people dealing with these issues, is so sensitively handled, by Larry Shriner, that I found myself opening my heart up to a group of people that have barely ever crossed my mind.
These beautiful people, with so many conflicts to deal with, are being stalked and brutally murdered.
What a lot of twists and turns this story takes us on, with the author pulling at our emotions with his expert penmanship.
But now you've really gone and done it Larry - Now I'm going to have to read your other books because this one was so good! xxx

Just to let you know about my last book research trip, I went to Beaufort, NC, on the coast, and it should figure into my Hatteras book. Well, I booked the motel in advance, a good price, and the room wasn't bad. But this is what I saw out my front door.
